You can make a donation online by clicking the graphic below which will take you to Paypal's secure website. Before you do, we have tried to answer some common questions about PayPal below, but if you need to ask something else, please email the webmaster or leave a comment. If you are a UK taxpayer please be sure to leave your address so we can claim the tax back on your donation, while we still can.


One final thing before you push the button. It is assumed, unless you tell us otherwise, that your donation will be for Rainbow House and not to support Lynda.  If your donation is intended to support Lynda personally please let us know by using the message option on Paypal. Thank you!

Does it cost me anything to send money through Paypal?
No, however it costs us between 2.5 and 5% in fees to transfer your donation into our our bank account.  So if your donation is particularly generous (say over £100) we would prefer a cheque or direct transfer.  However if you are unable to send a cheque we are happy to receive larger donations through PayPal.


I'm not resident in the UK, can I send a donation through PayPal?
Yes, PayPal is available in most major currencies and will convert your donation to GBP at the current market rate.


I haven't used Paypal before, is it secure?
Yes, the PayPal website is secure.  To make sure you are on secure page have a look in your browsers address bar the PayPal site address should start with 'https:// ", this means it is secure.

I don't have a PayPal Account can I still send a donation?
Yes, PayPal accepts all major credit and debit cards and you can even use them to arrange bank transfers.

Does Footprints see my credit or debit card details?
No, we don't.


Why do you need my address?
We may need to contact you about your donation, even if its just to say thank you!  And if you are a UK resident we can claim the tax back on your giving too. We promise never to share your contact details with anyone outside of the organisation.

Sorry about that - its a Facebook thing ... The easiest way to get out of it is to scroll to the very top of this page and right click the donate now logo on the left and open the link in a new page or tab. 


I already give to Rainbow House using a cheque or regular transfer, do I have to change the way I give?
No please keep giving in the way you usually do, the online option is not necessarily right for regular giving.  However if you would like to give a bit extra from time to time then you can do that this way should you wish.


What's all this about supporting Lynda?
Lynda is self supporting, so that all the money you donate goes to Rainbow House.  However if you feel called you can support Lynda yourself.  Please see here.


Rainbow House or Footprints of Jesus? Which is which?
Rainbow House is the home in Kenya, while Footprints of Jesus is the UK registered charity which funds Rainbow House.  It can get a bit confusing at times. But when you give to Footprints of Jesus you are giving to Rainbow House!
