The same is true of all our supporters, fund-raisers and prayer supporters. Whatever you choose to do, we believe that a heart that is giving is inspired by God and his mercy to us through his Son, even if not all our supporters would call themselves Christians (and you don't need to be a Christian to help us). In view of God's goodness to us, we can't help but to share that goodness and blessing with others.
Romans 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

I first met Lynda many years ago through Binscombe Church. I am keen to support her in the work she does at Rainbow House because she has shown her complete trust and obedience to God giving up everything; a comfortable lifestyle, home and work here in England, to follow God’s calling. Persevering through many difficulties, dangers, setbacks and health problems, in order to build and run Rainbow House.
Lynda is living proof of what our awesome God can do in the life of one ‘little’ lady, and I have the privilege of calling her my friend. What God has done through Lynda has been a great inspiration to me.
I have always believed in God as Creator. I was brought up to go to the Church of England with my parents. I was baptised as a baby and confirmed at the age of 19. That was important to me, as I believe this was the time that my faith became more personal, and confirmation was a way of showing this.
However, since then, through learning more of the bible, I have come to see that Jesus is the bridge between man and God, and that I owe a huge debt to him, because he went to his death on the cross for me so that my sins could be forgiven and so that I could have eternal life with God.
I had a choice: either I accepted eternal life with God, which is so important to me because he’s the God I’ve always believed in; or I faced eternal separation from that God.
Being baptised later in my life was something I did knowing it would please God; it was a way of showing my faith in him and obedience to him. If the Bible is the Word of God, who am I to argue with what it says?
